Hic Rosa, Common Tern Works, and GCAS Jəhān present a new alter-politics podcast, titled Chamak Uthay Hain Salaasil (The Chains Now Glimmer…), around current affairs and everyday politics beyond the spectacle, from an actual lived left and ant-fascist and internationalist (and not merely left-liberal or liberal-progressive, or statist anti-imperialist) perspective. Away from hired experts or celebrity-wishfuls (even among noble academics!) who always seem to have figured everything out but are entirely responsible for what they let the world become on their watch (even so many on the “left”), we hope to just return to certain egalitarian ways of speaking, listening, understanding, critique, and solidarity across borders of situations that often actually have no borders.

This is a show by friends for friends. Inviting comrades and friends from the Global South to join us and shape it.

It will be multilingual, depending on what we are discussing and with whom.
